What can you do to #ChangeClimateChange?

Our actions today will help define what tomorrow will look like for generations to come. Since 2007, the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour has inspired many environmental changes across the globe, including legislation and actions to protect forests, oceans and wildlife.

Here are three things you can do to help #ChangeClimateChange:

  1. Reduce energy at home

Burning fossil fuels (also known as non-renewable forms of energy) is one of the leading causes of climate change. You can reduce your energy consumption by unplugging electronics when not in use, installing energy-efficient light bulbs such as LED and exploring home energy retrofits.

  1. Green your commute

Getting to and from your destination can emit a lot of greenhouse gas emissions. You can reduce your impact on the environment by carpooling to school or work, or using transit. These are simple ways you help can reduce traffic congestion, air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.

  1. Come to Earth Hour Vaughan on March 25
