Celebrating Archives Awareness Week!

Did you know? In addition to historic documents, photographs, maps and government records, the City of Vaughan Archives also has many objects in its holdings. The archives is home to a unique collection of artifacts and other items from as far back as 1852, and includes things like tools, posters, artwork, board games and various articles of clothing.

In honour of Archives Awareness Week 2017, we’ll share one image a day of an object or group of items that represents each of the City’s five major communities: Maple, Kleinburg, Concord, Woodbridge and Thornhill. Join us next week as we unpack and delve into the three-dimensional history of the City of Vaughan!
